The Joint Commission announced this week that it will work with SGS, a leading verification, inspection, certification, and testing company, to offer a coordinated accreditation and ISO certification package.

This program, offered to hospitals and critical access hospitals, will combine The Joint Commission’s standards, survey process, and accountability measures with SGS’s ISO 9001 quality management system standards auditing program.
