The Joint Commission has released new information on IC.02.04.01, the Infection Control standard addressing the influenza vaccine for licensed independent practitioners and staff.

This standard has been revised for the hospital, critical access, and long-term care programs. It is new to the ambulatory, behavioral health, home, lab, Medicare/Medicaid certification-based long-term care, and office-based surgery programs.
