The Joint Commission announced last week the appointment of Ann Scott Blouin, PhD, RN, FACHE, to the position of Executive Vice President of Customer Relations, effective June 4.

Dr. Blouin joined The Joint Commission in 2008 and previously held the position of Executive Vice President of Accreditation and Certification Operations. According to The Joint Commission, her new role will focus on strengthening customer and stakeholder relationships.
